Updates

v2.0.0

Previous to v2.0.0 I did not keep a single note of updates I made, so from now on I'll be publishing some update notes each time I update the site.

To kick off this page, the entire site has been completely overhauled and there's far too much to list in detail.

  • The entire site's visuals have been redone to look much cooler regardless of what theme you use.

  • There is now a search feature you can use to search the entire collection. You can open this by clicking "Search" in the bottom right or by pressing the / key.

  • I've redesigned the way the collection is presented. Going to /collection no longer takes you to a list of currently owned games. It now takes you to a new hub page which shows a selection of data from the collection.

The new collection hub comes with a few new features:

"On this day" which shows entries that correspond to the current date, such as games I purchased on this date, game release anniversaries, completion anniversaries and so on. It also includes screenshots. This feature is based on the server's time and updates at midnight London time. You can go to settings to see what the server's time currently is.

There's also a new "Surprise Me" button that takes you to a random game from the collection.

And you can now see recently viewed games at the bottom of the page, this also shows on game detail pages.

  • The dashboard has been renamed to Collection Stats and has been reorganised. It is now separated into separate categories and is no longer as cluttered as the old one. The filtering system is a bit clunky but I'll improve it in a later update.

  • The media viewer has been improved to make browsing a lot of images much easier. You can make images display in fullscreen now too.

There is a new Media page that shows photos, screenshots, and videos attached to games in the collection. If you want to try the new media viewer, go there!

  • 3 new themes!

Shibuya: Based on The World Ends With You. It has Shiki Misaki as the character art.

Somnium: Based on AI: The Somnium Files. It has Aiba as the character art.

Golden: Based on Persona 4 Golden. It has Rise Kujikawa as the character art.

Unfortunately I had to nerf the secret theme since it was a waste and honestly wasn't that good in the first place. You can still claim the theme though! (If you can find it that is).

  • Significantly improved mobile experience. The site is still best experienced on desktop, but browsing it on a phone or tablet is perfectly usable now.

  • And a hell of a lot of other small changes.
